From the Mic to the Screen: My Journey Building Chatting Wit Ladii and Coutio’r TV

Hey everyone, welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m the voice and vision behind Chatting Wit Ladii, and if you’ve ever tuned into my podcast or flipped on Coutio’r TV, you already know I love keeping it real while asking crazy questions to make everyone laugh. Today, I want to pull back the curtain and share my story—where I came from, the businesses I’ve poured my heart into, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way while living life in Texas.

The Spark That Started It All

Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for conversation, culture, business, dancing, and giving people a platform to shine. Whether it was hip-hop music, rising artists, models, comedians, or everyday folks with powerful stories, I saw a gap: not enough spaces where authentic voices could be heard without the fluff and swag.

That spark turned into Chatting Wit Ladii Podcast. What began as a way to chat about trending topics, life, love, and the culture quickly grew into a space that celebrates talent across the board. From interviews with artists, authors, business owners, comedians and producers to raw discussions that make you laugh, think, or nod your head in agreement—we cover it all. The goal has always been simple: create a vibe where listeners feel like they’re sitting in the room with us, tapping into real energy and real talk.

Building Coutio’r TV: Taking It to the Next Level

Podcasting was just the beginning. I wanted to do more than audio—I wanted to give creators a visual stage. That dream led me to launch Coutio’r TV, my very own TV network.

Today, Coutio’r TV streams on Roku, Fire TV, and our website (coutior.tv). We spotlight up-and-coming artists, celebrity conversations, mic drop moments, and exclusive content you won't find anywhere else. Whether it’s a hot performance, trending gossip with a twist, or showcasing talent like Tiffany Blue, The Rise Of The Black Mogul TV Series and others dropping heat, we’re building a home for independent voices in hip-hop, entertainment, and beyond.

Running a TV network isn’t easy. There are late nights editing, figuring out tech, reaching out to artists, and constantly pushing content. But every time I see someone’s face light up because their music or story got airtime, it reminds me why I started. We’re not just streaming—we’re creating opportunities that go unforeseen.

The Realities of Building Businesses as a Woman in Media

Let me be honest: entrepreneurship has its highs and lows. There were moments I doubted myself, wondered if the audience would show up, or felt overwhelmed juggling everything. But living in Texas gave me that southern resilience and grind mentality. I learned early that consistency beats perfection every time.

Here are a few lessons I’ve picked up while building these businesses:

•  Stay authentic: People connect with real energy. I never chase trends just to chase them—I stay true to what I love:  hip-hop culture, uplifting voices, and good conversation.

•  Build community: Whether it’s podcast listeners or Coutio’r TV viewers, my biggest wins come from the people who tap in and support. Shoutout to everyone who shares, comments, and streams!

•  Diversify your vision: Starting with a podcast taught me storytelling. Turning it into a TV network taught me scalability. Never be afraid to level up your dream.

•  Protect your peace: Entrepreneurship can be draining, so I make time for faith, family, and self-care. Balance isn’t always perfect, but it’s necessary.

Where We’re Headed Next

Right now, I’m excited about growing Coutio’r TV even bigger—more exclusive interviews, artist spotlights, and maybe even live events. Chatting Wit Ladii continues to evolve with fresh episodes that spark real dialogue. My ultimate goal? Create a media empire that opens doors for others the way I wish more doors had been open for me.

If you’re reading this and you have a dream—whether it’s starting a podcast, launching a channel, or building any kind of business—let this be your sign. Start messy. Start scared. Just start. The journey from idea to execution is where the magic (and the growth) happens.
